Canvas print/Low tide at Warebeth Beach

A premium canvas printed from a watercolour painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue. Each canvas comes printed around the edges of the canvas and are ready to hang.

This picture of The Hoy Hills from Warebeth beach at Outertown, Stromness is painted using watercolours along with brown ink and a wee bit of collage using tissue paper. Warebeth is one of my favourite areas in Orkney and is always changing with the seasons. In the foreground is a lot of seaweed lying in the sand. In years gone by seaweed was taken from the shore and hauled up over stone dykes to dry for the 'kelp' industry which was big business then.

Overall size 24X18in with a depth of 1in. 

All canvas prints are part of a limited edition of 50 and are signed and numbered on the front by Jane Glue.
