Limited edition print/Wild cotton at Burnmouth, Rackwick

Rackwick valley is full of wild cotton or flax during the summer months and it is a lovely subject to paint. I like to look through the cotton into the distance as in this picture which shows the Burnmouth cottage below the cliffs. During the 19th century there was a large flax industry in Orkney making hats and other items for the big shops in London!
