About my Original paintings

Initially after returning from Art college in London in 1985 I concentrated on mainly  painting in watercolours. After working as a professional artist for over 35yrs I now work with a variety of mixed media including my own printed papers, acrylics, watercolour, collage, gesso, found papers and objects from Orkney's shoreline. I will often work using a multi layering technique by adding and taking away materials.

Frames and mounts are chosen individually to match each painting by myself and are mainly made by my local framer, Orkney Photographic in Kirkwall.

When posting original work, I just charge the on line price of £6.45 within the UK and I will cover any extra costs of insurance or postage for you myself.

If you live locally you can arrange to collect your painting from my sister Judith Glue's shop in Kirkwall for free and I will refund any postage paid at checkout. If you would like to do this please e mail me at jane@janeglue.com to arrange this.

 Jane also exhibits a range of original paintings from this website at her sister's Judith Glue shop, 25 Broad st, Kirkwall, Orkney. You are welcome to make an appointment to visit my studio in Kirkwall to view original work and if you would like to do this, please e mail me first at jane@janeglue.com to arrange a suitable day and time.
