Limited edition print/Sea Eagle at Brodgar, Orkney

A limited edition print from a watercolour painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue
printed on C-Type Matt paper in editions of 100 prints.

 In neolithic times Orkney's skies were full of sea eagles, it is said that they picked flesh from the bones of the dead laid out at 'The Tomb of the Eagles' in South Ronaldsay. I have used a bit of artist's liberty in this image and placed this sea eagle dramatically against the stone shapes of Orkney's famous neolithic stone circle, The Ring of Brodgar and the landscape of the Hoy Hills.
