Limited edition print/Poppy field

A limited edition print from a watercolour painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue
printed on C-Type Matt paper in editions of 100 prints

 This picture is a more abstract version of one of my favourite subjects, wild poppies. These poppies were growing wild beside the roadside near the village of Finstown. I have used lots of watercolour paint which has been dropped into wet paper, this technique causes the paint to create 'blooms' which I think are very affective in this picture.
