Limited edition print/Dr John Rae in the arctic

A limited edition print of an acrylic painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue
printed on C-Type Matt paper in an edition of 100 prints.

 Dr John Rae was a famous Orcadian. This picture was painted on a piece of 'found' driftwood from the shoreline. It depicts John Rae walking across the ice in his snow shoes with his dogs in the arctic snow where he discovered the fate of the 'Erebeus' which was Sir John Franklin's lost ship.
