Limited edition print/Bladder wrack seaweed on the shoreline

A limited edition print from a mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue
printed on C-Type Matt paper in an edition of 100 prints.

I found this piece of seaweed on the shoreline and took it back to the studio to paint. After a while it began to dry out and create an interesting shape. I used stained tissue paper for the background area to make the image less like a still life as if it were still lying on the beach.
