Printed from an original mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue

This picture was painted on handmade round shaped deckled edge heavy watercolour paper by Two Rivers Paper – We hand-make beautiful rag papers for artists and designers at an ancient watermill deep in the Somerset countryside.  I have use a mixture of watercolours, geli printed collage and added text from a poem by Orkney poet Robert Rendall describing the the majestic waves at The Brough of Birsay in Orkney. I really wanted to re create the feeling and deep blue colours of the sea on this bright and sunny winters day.
