Limited edition print/Bluebells at Happy Valley, Stenness, Orkney

A limited edition print from a mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue
printed on C-Type Matt paper in editions of 100 prints.

The original painting for this print started as a collage using handmade papers. I then added over acrylic paints to create the textures of the bluebells and the spring green foliage of the trees. Happy valley is situated in Stenness. The garden is the life’s work of a lovely man called Edwin Harold and many visitors from all over the world visited his garden and gave him seedlings to plant. Edwin passed away a good few years ago but Happy valley has now been restored and is looked after by a special trust.
