Hand finished print A3 size unframed/Wild cotton at Burnmouth, Rackwick

A unique hand finished print from an original mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue.

This lovely textured image was created using lots of gesso and acrylic paint. Wild cotton or 'flax' grows mainly amongst the heather and rough grassy areas throughout Orkney. This wild cotton is at Rackwick valley in Hoy. In the background is the bothy, Burnmouth and in the distance, the high cliffs of Hoy. Rackwick is a special magical place and one of my favourite haunts!

This print is embellished with gesso, acrylic paints and gold leaf which gives a lovely added texture. The print is signed and titled by Jane Glue on the front of the image and is an overall size of 420X300mm or A3, this size includes a small white border of 3mm. This print comes backed with board and wrapped in cellophane.
