Limited edition print/Sunset at Stenness loch, Orkney

A limited edition print from a watercolour painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue
printed on C-Type Matt paper in editions of 100 prints

 I like the more subtle colours in this Orkney sunset. I have used a mix of indigo blue and indian yellow watercolour paint for this picture. Indigo granulates when mixed with certain other colours such as indian yellow which creates a lovely texture. This view looking across Stenness loch is taken from the road that runs between Harray and Stenness loch, you can just see the stone circle of The Ring of Brodgar in the distance.
