Original painting/And by the winds swift fingers, polished bright

An original mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue.

This original painting is painted on 'two rivers' deckled handmade round shaped heavy watercolour paper using a mixture of watercolour paint, gesso, silver leaf and my own printed collage from clam shells and other items. These big waves were at Birsay. I have also added text from a poem by the Orkney poet, Robert Rendall.

The painted is framed and glazed in a 30mm wide white wood box moulding with the picture itself mounted on to a cream mountboard. The overall size is 555X555mm.
