Original painting/The new window, St Magnus cathedral

An original mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue.

This mixed media painting of the new window in Orkney's viking cathedral in Kirkwall has been created with a mixture of watercolours and collage to create a  multi layered affect. I loved the colours and reflections that lit up this stained glass window surrounded by granite on this beautiful sunny day. The painting is on a thick canvas board which has been mounted on to a light cream mountboard and framed/glazed with a 30mm wide box wood moulding. Overall size is 510X410mm.
